020 (London) Area Code Reports

This number called me today 19 March 2024 on my landline phone claiming to be 'bank security' but not naming any bank, saying..

Unsolicited call purporting to be a return call (no record of them ever) and giving a caucasean name but thick indian accent.

O2 scam , persistent and unpleasent ....

Scam o2 40% discount offer. Well known scam.

Unknown caller. Rang number back, reports unlisted. Probably a spoofed number.

Can't block the number. Keeps coming up as invalid. Repeatedly calls me. Obviously a scam.

said it was bank money been taken from account. had this phone call a few times, did not answer.

Said they are from O2 and would send a text to click on a link to get a discount off my monthly mobile bill. Just hung up

Left a robotic voicemail claiming to be hmrc

reported that it was from HM customs

Mysterious number that called me but was silent. I then called back, and the call won’t connect so presumably a robocaller
