11 Days AgoBEWARE - scam 'your amazon account's been hacked'!!! She claimed to be from Amazon and asked if I'd just purchased an iPhone, to which I said 'no' and then she asked if I wanted to go ahead with the purchase and again I said 'no'. She then said my account must have been hacked and that I would receive a cancelation code - which made the hackles on the back of my neck rise as that struck me as the scam was happening right now so I said 'thanks but I'll end this call and log into my account and change my password on my own.' and put down the phone.
