10 Months AgoRang me out of the blue about goods / services I had ordered but not received because the supplier had gone out of business. IIRC they called themselves Consumer Advice Service. I said nothing I had ordered failed to arrive and they asked if my solar panels had been delivered. My system was installed over 12 years ago by a local company that I thought was still trading. However, a Google search revealed they DID go bust on 11th Jan 2024. This might be a genuine call but obviously they found out I was a customer, albeit a long time ago, of a solar panel firm that had recently failed. I tried ringing them back but got an answerphone that didn't give out the recipient's name (strange for a business) and said the mailbox was full.
