Your bank should never ask you to trust an automated message to authorise potentially fraudulent. Every bank has their own way to contact their customers, if you have not been contacted by your bank before, call their fraud line, by going to your banks website for the number and they will verify if they have attempted to contact you, and will be able to give you information that only your bank would know about your account so you can be confident that you are speaking to a representative of the bank.
