Who called me from 08000521251?

Claimed to be Virgin Media offering better services exclusively for us, but asked for details about our account before proceeding. He became quite rude when we said we could not give information about the account if they could not give us any information to prove who they were. Caller had an Indian type accent. We asked if they could send an email with information about the offer, or even an email to say they were calling, but they refused and said we had to give information about the account before they could proceed. Rude. Blocked.

My wife has received several calls from this number, but did not answer them as she did not recognise it. Having consulted this web site, she has now blocked the number on her mobile.
