7 Months AgoThis is a refund scam which starts with an automated message telling you that you have had 2 high value payments come out of your "visa account". One to Amazon and another "foreign payment". You are instructed to press 1 to ignore the message or 2 to speak to an advisor. If you believe it is genuine, you will press 2 to speak to an advisor who is Indian. They will then start asking you for information, name, DOB, address etc etc. The reality is that they do not have any information about you. Instead they will collect as much info as possible from you as possible, ask you to download a tool to access your computer. They will then convince you to log into your bank and make you think that YOU are the thief by editing your banks website to make it look like they have accidentally refunded you a huge amount.
